Context

The situation.

A dam owner fusing survey, geotechnical and telemetry records for a large embankment structure.

Scope

Fusion of survey campaigns, piezometric and seepage instrumentation, and structural telemetry into one living model of the structure with threshold alerting and an inspection-ready evidence trail.

Outcome

Single operations view replacing 5 spreadsheets, with an inspection-ready evidence trail behind every number.

Challenges

What made it hard.

Three instrumentation generations used different datums: we reconstructed datum lineage per instrument generation before fusing, so thresholds meant one thing.

Survey epochs arrived at irregular intervals: we built as-of-date views so any historical question returns the state known at that date.
