Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this website and our delivered systems usable by everyone, independent of ability or assistive technology.
Last updated: 19 October 20261. Our commitment
Epcotec Pty Ltd (Australia) and Epcotec Ltd (Canada) are committed to digital accessibility. We want every visitor to be able to perceive, understand, navigate and interact with this website, regardless of ability, technology or circumstance. Accessibility is treated as an engineering requirement, not an afterthought: the same discipline we apply to the mission-critical systems we deliver for government, defense and enterprise clients applies to our own web presence.
2. Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor and cognitive impairments.
This website is designed and reviewed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We describe our conformance as partially conformant: the majority of the site meets the standard, and we continue to remediate known gaps. Where third-party embedded content is used, its accessibility depends on the provider.
3. Measures we apply
To support accessibility across this website, we:
- use semantic HTML landmarks, headings and lists so pages have a clear structure for assistive technologies;
- maintain colour contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA ratios for body text and interactive elements;
- keep full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements;
- provide text alternatives for meaningful images and mark decorative visuals as such;
- respect the operating-system reduced motion preference: animated light-spectrum effects are disabled automatically when it is set;
- avoid conveying information by colour alone;
- keep forms labelled, with errors described in text;
- design responsively so content reflows at different viewport sizes and zoom levels without loss of function.
4. Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some aspects of this website may not yet be fully accessible. We monitor the site continuously and remediate issues as they are identified. If you encounter content that presents a barrier, please tell us so we can fix it.
5. Feedback and assistance
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience difficulty using any part of it, or need content in an alternative format, contact us through the contact page and we will respond and work with you on a suitable arrangement.
Where a request concerns a delivered system rather than this website, raise it with your engagement lead so it is tracked under the relevant project's accessibility requirements.
6. Accessibility in delivered work
For client engagements, accessibility requirements are captured at scope: interface work is reviewed against WCAG criteria alongside functional acceptance, and assistive-technology testing is part of our quality gates. Scope, pricing and delivery remain fixed and written, as with everything we ship.
7. Enforcement and governance
This statement is reviewed as part of our corporate-governance cycle together with our policy library, which covers quality, security and information-handling commitments. Material changes to our accessibility posture are reflected here with a revised date.
